Today at Dyce’s school they are having a fashion show. We have no idea what this will entail but are excited to see pictures of all the kids!

Brad dressed Dyce this morning in a very fashion forward ensemble. I’m sure some of you think that we just grab the most random attire we can find and make our child wear it. I will admit there is some truth to this, but we really just want to make sure that he has his own sense of style. We hope the more we do this, the more he will be willing to take chances with his expression in the future….when he eventually dresses himself.

Lime Green Jeans: H&M

Yellow Suspenders: American Apparel

Boots: H&M (girl’s department- who says boys can’t wear metallic shoes?!)

Vest: Vintage from The Rat’s Nest

Hat: H&M (it was originally white on the outside but Brad added graffiti with colored sharpie markers and then sealed it with a fixative spray.

I’m not quite sure what’s in the water these days, but I can easily count at least five of my close friends who are currently pregnant. Most of them are just getting around to announcing it (or are about to) so I don’t have to keep their happy secret to myself any longer! 

With all the baby excitement going on I thought I would share with you some of my personal favorite online maternity shops. Some of these stores were life savers for me when I was looking for something to wear that would cover my belly but still remain fashionable!

By the way….rumor has it that h&m will begin online sales soon and there is also talk of them opening a store in Charlotte! Fingers Crossed.

You know those mornings when you either can’t fit into what you were going to wear or your lovely babe wipes his or her breakfast on you causing some last minute decision making? Today was one of those days and I had to grab whatever was in the dryer or on my closet floor, throw on some mismatched accessories and run out the door.
