Rya is our 4 year old Siberian Husky. Brad and I got her when she was just 6 weeks old. She is crazy, moody, and wicked smart. Above that, she is the most loyal friend I have ever had, and I mean that in all seriousness.

There was a period in my life when I was extremely sad. My father was sick and it took a toll on me both emotionally and physically. Most nights I would either cry myself to sleep or wake up crying. Rya was always there. I can’t tell you how many nights she climbed in bed with me and stayed there until I calmed down and fell asleep. She would get me out of bed on days when I just didn’t feel like it, even if that meant putting my covers in her mouth and running down the side of the bed to pull them off me!

She has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives and we are so grateful for how loving and caring she is towards Dyce. You may not hear mention of her quite as often as you do Brad and Dyce, but rest assured she is always here.
