WatchWatch
The few hours we get to spend together each day, just the three of us, are the hours that hold me together. Play time is so much fun when filled with the infectious laughter of a child. It’s funny how we, as parents, will do almost anything to make our children smile. I know it won’t always be this easy but it just means we must try a little harder. I would gladly make a fool of...

Nine Months!
Happy 9 months old sweet boy! This past month has been the MOST fun. Your dad and I have enjoyed every minute watching you grow and we can’t believe what a big personality you have started to develop.  Things you love: paper, cell phones, remotes, keys, opening and closing doors, the coat rack, mommy’s hair, Rya’s bone, bath time, taking naps on dad, vanilla soy yogurt,...

Resolutions
Oh resolutions! Usually I don’t like to consider my resolutions to be “resolutions”, but more a starting point for a lifestyle change (which is basically what they are). This year I decided to commit to small changes in my life that would not only have an effect on my health and well being, but my family’s as well. Here are the four lifestyle changes I am committing to...

Greetings 2012!!!
Sorry things were so quiet around here the past few days, I managed to catch some gnarly stomach bug New Years Eve night and had to call it an early night. I promise to catch you up on my resolutions for this year, but for now I wanted to share a few snaps from NYE at Claire and Brandon’s house (and of course it was an 80’s theme)…. How hysterical is Claire’s dress?!! ...

"Razzle"?
Please don’t be grossed out by this picture….Brad happened to snap it at JUST the right moment when Rya decided to love on Dyce a little! I think they both enjoyed it! Brad and I have had many conversations when we would discuss what we thought Dyce’s first word would be. We want it to be something that comes naturally for him so we have not been coaxing him to say anything...

2011 - A Year to Remember
2011 was certainly the MOST amazing year! Never did I think that my entire outlook on life could change within a few short months. I am looking forward to many more amazing memories to come, but I thought I would take a few minutes to share some of my favorite moments from this year…. New Years Eve 2011….I was over 6 months pregnant and got a speeding ticket this night and got to be...

Our Christmas this year was pure perfection and being able to watch Dyce was almost magical! I think Brad and I both agreed that this was by far the greatest Christmas we have ever had. Please enjoy a few highlights from the weekend… We always celebrate Christmas Eve at my parents house with my brother, sister and their families… There are 7 grandchildren between the three of us...

Late.
Some days I am late for work.  Correction… Most days I am late for work. When I am caught by my boss, I always give the same excuse. “The Baby.” He gives me an understanding nod and then we go about our day. I suppose I could be more specific, but he doesn’t require an explanation. The truth is, yes, the baby did make me late, but not for the reasons one would...

If It's Good Enough for Jesus....
Sorry it has been so quiet around here the past few days. Things have been busy with all the Christmas preparations, a full work load, a vehicle that has a mind of its own and a little boy who seems to be getting into EVERYTHING! :) I have been asked several times what special things we have planned for Dyce this year and I wanted to let you all know about a tradition we will be starting and...

Dixie Peaches
I was so excited when I received a package in the mail recently from Dixie Peaches Couture!!  Dixie Peaches is family owned and operated with each piece designed, printed, and packaged in Athens, Georgia. I have always been a huge supporter of local businesses, but Dixie Peaches is a particular favorite as it is the product of a dear friend’s creativity and hard work. The simple graphic...

GNO
This weekend the girls and I got together for GNO (Girls Night Out). It was a lovely night filled with fantastic food and lots of vino! A big thanks to all the husbands who were on daddy duty for the night. It had been far too long since we had all gotten together and there was a lot to celebrate….babies, more babies, and birthdays! After we did a bit of catching up at...
