The Bestest
Tonight I spent a good 3 hours preparing Dyce’s babyfood for the next (hopefully) two weeks. Hopefully-because it’s a new recipe and I pray he likes it enough to finish what I made. Lentils, carrots, tofu, and a little garlic. Not bad.
Brad was busy watching Monday night football so I had the kitchen to myself…and my thoughts.

Thankful Thursday
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and (hopefully) a few days off work to spend with family and friends. It was beyond nice to be able to spend four straight days with my loves. Dyce is fast approaching the 8 month mark and it is fascinating to watch the things he learns each day. He has started army crawling all over the place and is pulling himself up as well. We can barely keep up!

Watch
Tonight my husband gave me an early Birthday present. Somehow he knew just what I needed. Needless to say, this was the best birthday gift I have ever received. He wrote this song and recorded it on our home computer. Thank God for my music man….and the Dangerous little boy we made. This is what it’s all about, and just when I think it couldn’t get any better….it does!

Presumed Prodigy
Sometimes I sit with Dyce and wonder what he will be when he grows up. Every new discovery he makes lets my mind wonder about his future and what is in store for him one day. Often times I realize how ridiculous I can be with my thoughts, as his actions are those that every baby experiences at some point, but it is fun to dream for him and play make-believe for a few minutes.
